The Royal Beauty Mask

This Traditional Chinese Medicine beauty mask used to be a secret formula from the Tang Dynasty. It was passed down from Yang Gui Fei, one of the 4 beauties in the ancient Tang Dynasty. She was well known for her beauty and she used this mask daily to maintain her beauty. It is believed that even the Empress Dowager Cixi, used this beauty mask daily and even when she was 70 years old, her skin was soft and rosy without much wrinkles or age spots. This secret recipe was leaked out of the palace one day and thereafter it was passed down generations after generations.

  1. Mix the ingredients together to form a paste. If it is too thick, add some water.
  2. Apply on clean face. Wash off after 15mins. Can be used daily.

Note: Powdered apricot kernel can be purchased from any Traditional Chinese Medicine store in Singapore. They can grind the apricot kernels for you to powder form. Some stores sell the powdered ones. Otherwise you can just use a grinder- I used my kitchen grinder with the some leftover apricot kernels I got after cooking the Stewed Pear with Chuan Bei for my cough.
