TCM beauty - Fu Ling Whitening Face Mask
Fu Ling (Poria) can be taken internally or used externally. As a key TCM beauty (Traditional Chinese Medicine) herb, Fu Ling has whitening properties, it can reduce freckles & melanoma.
Here we have some recipes for face mask that uses Fu Ling for Whitening Face Mask
1) Fu Ling Hydrating Mask 茯苓蜂蜜面膜
This mask is not only nourishing & hydrating but also helps to lightens dark pigments and melanoma. 茯苓和蜂蜜一起做面膜，对于去除老年斑有一定的好处，还能有很好的淡化黑色素的作用，对于营养肌肤来说起到了很好的作用和功效。
Ingredients:
- Fu Ling Powder 15 g; 白茯苓粉15克
- Honey 30g ; 蜂蜜30克
Mix both together to form a paste. 将蜂蜜与茯苓粉调成糊状即成
Apply to clean face. Leave on for 20-30 mins or overnight. After that, Wash off with warm water. 用在清洁的脸上，放20-30分种，用清水洗去即可。
2） Fu Ling Whitening Mask 三白面膜 - TCM Singapore
This mask combines 3 commonly used herbs for whitening and nourishing the skin. Honey & milk as the base also adds to the hydrating effect. For oily skin types, use only milk, not honey.
Ingredients:
- Fu Ling powder 5g ; 白茯苓粉5克
- Bai Zhi powder 5g; 白芷粉 5克
- Bai Ji powder 5g ; 白芨粉 5克
- Honey or Milk ; 蜂蜜或牛奶适量
Mix all together to form a paste adding milk or honey slowly to achieve the right consistency. 将牛奶与粉调成糊状即成。
Apply to clean face. Leave on for 20-30 mins. After that, Wash off with warm water. 用在清洁的脸上，放20-30分种，用清水洗去即可。
Fu Ling not only has whitening properties, it can reduce water retention as its a good diuretic. Hence its commonly used for slimming purposes.
